It is important to note that the things that are written by other people are not often written to you. It is safe to assume that the author of any text has no fucking idea who you are whatsoever - and thus cannot possibly have you in mind while they are prattling on. Now, I have to insist that the writings that will be found in this tome have no intentional connection to any persons living, dead, or still figuring it out.

For all intents and purposes, this tome is not written to anyone in particular.
