MY FRIENDS CALL ME JAM

Hi there. My name is Jam and I think queer filmmakers like me should be able to get their films made. So I founded a company about it.

  • noun. a Toronto-based filmmaker & multimedia artist working to support other queer & bipoc filmmakers and artists in creating their art (i.e. for arts sake)

synonyms: founder, owner of this company, creative collaborator, “friend” of your mom

Jam is passionate about art, meaning, and lesbian and queer culture. Jam strives to make and support work that centers the female gaze and intersectional perspectives.

  • Jasmine ‘Jam’ Eve-Gallagher Louisy was born in Toronto and has been shooting little movies on analog film since they were 8 years old.

Jam is the proud owner of a resume. This is what the resume says:

    • Recognized talent for Directing, with a primary focus on intuitive acting and negotiating a character with the talent. Jam has spent almost a decade running various social experiments and experimental projects which investigate intrapersonal dynamics and the different acting techniques as it relates to group psychology, while also taking on more traditionally structured Narrative or Documentay works.

    • Organized & detail-oriented with years of experience in many fields and disciplines, including Cinematography, Scenography and Production Design, Post Production, and Traditional Visual Arts

    • An efficient, hardworking & adaptable team player

    • Excellent written & oral communication, fluent in English, speaks basic French

  • Jam is learned.

Jam has studied visual art and art history for roughly a decade, and film production for around 8 years. During this time, Jam has trained in numerous disciplines relevant to film production and multimedia arts. Jam uses this extensive education to make increasingly unusual art for increasingly unusual people.

Hi there, thanks for looking at this hidden page which contains a great deal of my personal information. I hope you’ve enjoyed your stay here on my secret resume page. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any stupid jokes you want to test drive, or if you’re looking for creative collaborators. I am always more than happy to help out on creative projects in any way, or even just go take weird photos in the park at night. Thanks again for wanting to know detailed chronological data about my past, and have a fantastic rest of your day.

Warmest Regards~~~
